At BOOSH KIDS we offer a holistic program that promotes the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, communicative and artistic growth of children in middle childhood. We value the importance of an aesthetically beautiful, home-like environment that reflects our collective identities, understandings and vision. We feel that by respecting these values we nurture a spirit of belonging, being and becoming in a positive sense.

Our curriculum approach aims to extend children’s social competence while acknowledging the hundred languages of children (multiple intelligences). In this way all children are nurtured, valued and extended. Our curriculum approach is guided by the children’s curiosity and interests, but is also influenced by the input of staff, families and community. Topics of interest become the threads that we weave through our spontaneous and planned project work. We place a strong emphasis on building a community of learners, learning respectfulness, research skills and resourcefulness together, as this builds on our success for life.

BOOSH is open to all school-age children every school day Monday to Friday between 3-6 pm and during school vacations between 9-6pm.
